Please help keep Fenway Bark's guests healthy!
To keep the guests in our care as healthy and safe as possible, we thoughtfully request that if your dog has been diagnosed with a flea infestation, intestinal parasites or communicable bacterial or viral infection, that you remedy the situation before bringing your dog back into our daycare or boarding environment. Let us know when you need to cancel standing reservations because of illness.
If your dog has been diagnosed with an intestinal parasite (e.g., giardia, hookworm, roundworm, tapeworm), please seek treatment through your veterinarian and have your dog retested via a fecal exam before returning to our care. We will need to receive a copy of the negative fecal test results upon your dog's return. Some intestinal parasites are easily transferred to both dogs and humans and it is very important that we keep both as healthy as possible.
Likewise, it is important for you to communicate to us any injuries, sore spots, or other we need to be mindful of for the comfort of your pet.
As warmer weather allows for more time outdoor time, it also provides the possibility of exposure to ticks, fleas, and other hazards. Please keep your dog from drinking standing water to reduce the possibility of leptospirosis and also re-direct your dog from other dog's waste that may contain communicable parasites.
Thank you so much for helping us by doing your part to keep every guest safe while in both our and your care.
Warmly,
Jane
